Christopher Wellborne

I’m the Director of Global Logistics at Sonos, where I lead the strategic direction and operational execution of logistics across global markets. My focus is on driving efficiency, optimizing performance, and ensuring exceptional service—connecting manufacturing, fulfillment, and aftersales in a way that delivers both customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.

Before joining Sonos, I spent several years with Dyson, progressing through multiple leadership roles across the U.S. and Canada. I began as a leader in the Order Management and SAP pillar in the U.S., before taking the opportunity of a lifetime and relocating to Toronto to serve as Head of Supply Chain for Canada. In 2023, I returned to the U.S. to head up Aftersales Operations, before being promoted to lead logistics for the entire Americas. My time there was defined by transformation—building teams, improving network design, and navigating the challenges of scaling operations in a rapidly evolving global market.

I was born and raised in South-West England and studied Politics & International Relations at Lancaster University. My career began not in supply chain but in hospitality, where I spent over 15 years leading operations in cafés, restaurants, hotels, and nightlife across the U.K. and Italy. When my wife, son, and I emigrated to Chicago in 2015, I made the transition into supply chain—first with a regional custom window manufacturer, where I learned production planning and demand management firsthand. That experience ignited a passion for the field and set the course for the next chapter of my career.

I became a U.S. citizen in 2019, a milestone that remains one of my proudest personal achievements. It marked not just a move across borders but a full commitment to building a life and career in the country that welcomed me.

I now live in Chicago, Illinois, with my wife, three children, and utterly daft, Dug. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me cooking, running, playing music, or exploring the outdoors - anything but sitting still!
